The Challenge

The challenge was to design and prototype a comprehensive mobile user experience within one month. The prototype needed to validate client requirements, visualise the user flow, and accommodate a diverse user base while meeting Timbre Group’s business needs.

Problems Solved

The prototype was created rapidly. I implemented a streamlined design process, allowing for quick iterations and weekly validations of UX flows. This approach ensured that each release cycle incorporated business feedback from the sales team and stakeholders to ensure the design met usability and business requirements. Close collaboration with the sales team facilitated swift decision-making and alignment with project goals.

Outcomes

The prototype received positive feedback from various stakeholders. It successfully demonstrated the viability of the entrepreneur’s vision, leading to a successful seed funding round and served as a key tool for attracting investment and supporting further development.

Business Discovery

Conducted in-depth consultations with Timbre Group stakeholders to understand their vision and gather essential requirements. This provided a solid foundation, reducing the risk of misunderstandings and ensured a clear direction for the project.

Design

The design concept follows established industry conventions of food ordering such as Grab and Foodpanda, focusing on experiences that are familiar to a diverse user base. This allowed for realistic designs that follows practical norms of established food ordering platforms.

Feedback

Feedback were gathered through weekly iterations, incorporated insights from the sales team and stakeholders. This iterative process ensured the designs met user needs and business requirements, leading to a final product that was user-friendly and aligned with business goals.

Prototype

The final prototype effectively demonstrated the overall user flow and viability of the mobile app. It served as a crucial tool for future budgeting and investment.
